Naruto: Kakashi (SPOILERS Non-manga readers!)

Kakashi is one of the most skillful and talented shinobi in the whole Naruto universe. At first I underestimated him but eventually he proved to be a very powerful opponent, not as individual but as a team player. He almost defeated Tendo Pain without any knowledge of Pain's true power and weakness through his team plan. He's a prodigy no doubt. He invented a jutsu that's considered as one of the most fearsome techniques ever made, that's even comparable to the highest degree of shape manipulation called Rasengan.

However let's not be blind and say Kakashi can reach what he is today without Obito's Sharingan. The fear that is the Sharingan No Kakashi is because of his amazing skill in using Sharingan. He even surpassed real Uchihas in using Sharingan to copy enemy jutsus.

44 seals? Yeah, Kakashi can copy that with his sharingan

Hell, even Itachi can't copy that much (but Itachi's specialization is on usage of his Mangekyo Sharingan: Tsukoyomi, Amaterasu and Susano and some Taijutsu).

With the current events, his only original jutsu is now back to being an incomplete highly risky jutsu.

Let's also not forget that he had been saved by his Kamui multiple times before. Therefore he should have been dead lots of chapters/episode before the current arc.

Do you think he'll still become the feared Sharingan No Kakashi as before? It's true that he's very skillful and talented, but most (actually ALL) of his victories are because of his sharingan. Now that it's gone, how do you think Kakashi will do?

Personally I think he would be dropped to lower ranks. He can't do the same missions he has done before. However, Konoha can still use his intellect to their advantage, so maybe he'll be a great replacement for Shikaku (I don't think Shikamaru is now worthy to be a replacement). If not, maybe he can still be used on the same missions, but he won't be the same one-man team anymore. He needs to be in a team, or he's dead.
